Dancing with the stars

Let me tell you a secret, I wish I can grace the dance floor. But with my two left feet and two left arms (to be exact), I would be embarrassing myself if I do so. I have really bad coordination, where my limps simply refused to move the way I would like them to. So in conclusion, I would rather be a closet dancer. Well, at least I can admire dancers from far. I always enjoy watching others dance, especially little ballerina. Bobbing around in their pink tutu. Awwww, all soooo cute!!

This pretty little girl like pink, so she requested her cake to be in pink. I have also remake her exact ballet tutu in fondant. Hope she love this presentation and cake.

Ultraman Vs Monsters Showdown

Past few days has been raining on and off, the humidity is driving me bonkers. When the sun is out the fondant is hard as rock, but when it starts to rain again, the fondant turn soft. Luckily for me, I still managed to hand in my work to a happy mummy. *phew*

My All Time Favourite!!!

Ever since from young, I LOVE Pandan Chiffon Cake. I still remember that there was this bakery near my place which sold the yummiest pandan cake ever. However, the bakery has changed hand and their cakes are not as good anymore. In fact, its is almost impossible to find a good pandan cake. Either there is too much coconut milk or pandan essence/paste and etc. Bengawan Solo's pandan chiffon cakes curb my cravings at times, but not always. Something is missing, but I can't pinpoint what exactly. It lacks a specific "ummph".  Therefore, I am always trying to perfect my pandan chiffon cake again and again till I finally got it. I'm OVER THE MOON!!

This cake is soft, moist, fragrant and fluffly, just the way I like it.

Happy Children's Day!!

Boy, it has been ages since I last celebrated Children's Day. Children are the most innocent and pure. And once in awhile they will say the darn-est thing. Just recently, I asked my 5yr old niece to count to 1 to 20, she literally says " 1, 2 , 20"...OMG, she is soooo funny, everyone around who heard just burst into laughter. If only I was so witty at her age.
