Croqembouche with Chocolate Kahlua Mousse cake
Croqembouche is a tower of choux pastry dipped in chocolate bound with caramel. For this case, I have filled these pastries with Valrhona chocolate pastry cream, and decorated with almonds nibs, gold pearls,Valrhona crunchy balls and blue sugar sprinkles. This makes an excellent eye-catching center piece for any occasion.
With simple ingredient of butter, water, flour, and eggs can produce such wonderful pastries. I love to watch them "poof" up in the the oven. And its simply heavenly to bite into their crispy shells with the pastry cream oozing out. These babies will be gone in 60 seconds...
